Location: Hotel Szent Istvan *** is located close to the famous Castle of Eger on a 6000m2 green area. Due to the high altitude of the location, guests can enjoy a beautiful view of this unique baroque city. The city center and the main tourist attractions can be easily reached by foot in about 15 minutes.
Hotel: The hotel opened its doors in 2004. The underground chambers connecting all of the hotel buildings are not the remains of the Ottoman occupation of Eger, however they remind the visitors for the town's history. There is a lovely chapel in the hotel's garden providing a perfect place for romantic weddings, concerts and musical performances. In the restaurant guests can choose from a wide variety of traditional Hungarian specialities. The wellness area offers indoor pool (27-28°C), jacuzzi (35°C), infrared chamber, Finnish sauna, fitness room, solarium and massages. The conference room can accommodate up to 120 persons and is an ideal venue for company trainings, parties, meetings and weddings.
Rooms: All rooms have pinewood furniture, airconditioning, private bathrooms (bathtub/shower) minibar, telephone and television. The apartments are equipped with a kitchen, making them ideal for families and friends. The suite can meet the highest demand of comfort level with its elegant furniture and unique atmosphere that offers something different than usual appartements. Non-smoking rooms, baby-cot and baby bathtub can be requested.
