The Retreat Center offers the chance to undergo multiple forms of spiritual experiences when participating in the various programs offered. At any given time, the atmosphere of the place is made unique by the presence of our guests staying in the Monastery. The old and newly constructed spaces blend harmoniously into a coherent complex, and the the blend of the two comprises a building suitable for special programs.
The Monastery is a unique treasure of Europe, and is among the most suitable places for those seeking some time spent solely with pure relaxation, or a period of inner focus and enrichment of spirit and soul – should they arrive from any corner of the world.
Rooms
The monk's cells and rooms have been converted into hotel quality rooms with a unique atmosphere. There are no two alike: the size, the design, the furniture, and the view make each space unique.
18 single and 5 double rooms await guests with their own en suite bathroom, all are accessible by elevator. Comfort is provided by the custom designed furniture hand made specifically for these rooms.
The rooms face either the woods next to the building, the Monastery's park, the courtyard, or the rural community below. The majority of guest rooms are restored originals, with 4 new rooms of similar atmosphere added in the loft.
Our physically challenged guests are welcome to stay in a double occupancy room made obstacle free.
The Restaurant – serviced by the adjoining kitchen – is open for overnight guests and participants of special retreat or dietary programs offered by the Monastery. Additionally, à la carte diners are also welcome by lunch or dinner reservation.
All communal areas inside the Monastery serve to provide guests with a peaceful environment conducive to intellectual enrichment during education programs, creative endeavor during meetings and conferences, or activities promoting health and balance of the physical body. These spaces combine to offer an all-around functionality in all seasons for
• group retreats,
• special group programs,
• creative corporate team buildings,
• conferences,
• meetings.
