The Hotel Kapitány**** Wellness was built right next of the Castle of Sümeg. The beautiful and calm atmosphere offers relaxing and recreation possibilities and helps you to go back in the time. Our guests can experience the spirit of the Middle Ages.
Information about the rooms: Our hotel awaits the guests with 75 four-star superior and family rooms equipped with TV, minibar, telephone and Internet connection. You can find a hair dryer and bathrobe in the bathroom.
Wellness centre: You can find an Oriental-style swimming pool, a modern wellness pool, a pool for children, a Jacuzzi, an outdoor pool (May-Oct), an infra sauna, a Finnish sauna, a steam bath, an aroma cabin in the wellness area of the hotel. The wellness centre furthermore offers pampering bathes, various types of massages, renewing and relaxing bathes and beauty treatments for the guests. Those who would like to relax actively can use our modern cardio and fitness machines.
Hospitality: The winter garden of the Szent László Lovagkirály Restaurant, which is suitable for 150 people, awaits our guests with an abundant buffet style breakfast and dinner. The restaurant has some other rooms with mediaeval spirit where you can enjoy a' la carte dishes during the day and in the evening. On the menu you can find delicacies of the Hungarian and international cuisine as well as dietetic, vegetarian and wellness dishes. The separated rooms can be the venues of smaller get-togethers. After removing the partition walls you can get a banqueting-hall for larger gatherings, weddings, balls and banquets.
Conferences, programs: Not far from the castle next to the hotel you can find the Várcsárda (Castle Restaurant), which adapts itself well to the historical milieu offering traditional Hungarian dishes. The restaurant with its Knight's hall located in the basement (for up to 400 people) can be the perfect place for organizing conferences, weddings and other larger celebrations. The gatherings can be completed with mediaeval jousts and other programs. The castle and the castle estate have been providing the venue for various large conferences, trainings, weddings and gatherings during the whole year since 1998. In addition to providing the venue we can also organize and transact the programs. Naturally we organize the programs according to the wishes of the procurer. Programs: historical equestrian games, mediaeval feasts, wine tasting, picnic, the artillery attack against he Castle of Sümeg.
