Jenő Hubay Music Hall is located in the heart of historical downtown of Budapest, directly on the riverside of the Danube. Jenő Hubay the world famous violinist built his house on the banks of the river in 1897-98. On the first floor of the four storey building, in the legendary white Music Hall gatherings of music, literature and other arts were regulary held.The renowned music hall suffered a quiet spell following the second world war and was only reopened to the public in 2008, since the white Music Hall, two salons and the original wooden staircase having been renovated.
