There are two boat hotels in Budapest. One is Botel Lisa, which is anchored at the Gubacsi bridge in the southern part of Budapest. It is rather far from the city center, but in return, you get a very quiet surrounding and the beautiful Soroksár Danube branch. There are several recreational opportunities around the hotel. We recommend this hotel mainly during the summer. Very close to the city center, there is the other boat hotel, Boat Hotel Fortuna. You can park your car free of charge in front of the hotel. Tourists love this hotel very much because it is not expensive, it's close to the center, it can be reached day and night by public transportation, and the rooms have a special atmosphere because of the round cabin windows. The superior rooms are very spacious and with a view to the Danube. The hotel is also suitable for smaller conferences, and the restaurant is also worth a visit even if you are not staying at this hotel. During the summer months, the top of the hotel functions as a terrace, with a view to the Danube and the beautiful Margareth Island.
