Deák Square is one of the largest squares in Budapest city center, a public transportation hub epicenter with all metro lines stopping here. With the help of the three metro lines, you can reach almost any major place in Budapest within minutes from here. There are several hotels and apartments near Deák Square. Closest are Corvinus Hotel Kempinski and Hotel Le Meridien. Both are 5 star hotels, next to one another. The backside of the hotels are facing a pedestrian street, while the frontal rooms are facing the Elisabeth Park.
A 3-4 minute walk away from Deák Square, you'll find Hotel Mercure City Center (former Hotel Taverna) in the Váci pedestrian street. 300-400 meters from Deák Square, in Kis Diófa Street, you'll find three hotels near one another. Hotel Domina Inn Fiesta has modern-style, elegant rooms. The interior of the hotel has a turn-of-the-century atmosphere with a touch of Mediterranean feeling. In the nearby Hotel Ambra, you'll find a boutique-hotel type atmosphere. The hotel has its own underground garage, which is very useful in this area.
