The Danube River in Budapest hosts several bridges, out of which the Chain Bridge is perhaps the most well-known. It has become a symbol of the city, especially in its illuminated state during the night. During the summer months, the bridge is closed for cars and is open only to pedestrian traffic.Near the Chain Bridge, hotels await their guests on both sides of the river.
