Starting from the second half of the 1990's, several luxury hotels have opened in Budapest. These hotels have brought new color and high-quality services onto the Budapest hotel market. These hotels have around 300-400 rooms on average. Aside from the large standard, superior and deluxe rooms, all of these hotels offer a few truly exclusive suites. These suites have several rooms, several bathrooms, living room to welcome guests, working room with all technical requirements and meeting room. Naturally, these suites have quickly become the most expensive hotel rooms in Budapest. It is not rare to be asked for more than 4 000 EURO/night for these suites. At the moment, the most expensive suite can be found in the Four Seasons Hotel Grasham Palace at the Pest-side foot of the Chain Bridge. The Royal Suite is 226 m² in size, and costs around 5000 EURO/night. The Royal Suite is the jewel of the hotel. There are two Presidential Suites in the hotel, but only 1 such Royal Suite. The terrace of the suite offers a breathtaking panorama of the Buda Hills and the Danube. The interior of the suite is exclusive, haut couture. The suite has been rented by world-class singers, diplomats, businessmen and heads of states. 1 year after its opening, the Four Seasons Hotel Grasham Palace Budapest has won the "Best of the Best Hotel 2005" prize of the American Robb Report Magazine in 2005. Since then, the hotel has won several new prizes, including that of Tatler, Galivanter's Guide, and Condé Nast Traveller, which has chosen the hotel to be the member of the best 100 hotels in the world. | ||||||||||
