The Budapest Congress Center is located at BAH traffic center (BAH stands for the cross of Budaörsi, Alkotás and Hegyalja roads) on the Buda side, at the foot of the Gellért Hill. Presentations, fairs and concerts are held here all year round. The nearest hotel is the 4 star Novotel Budapest Congress. This hotel is in the same building as the Congress Center, with a passage on the ground floor. On the other side of BAH traffic center, you'll find the 4 star Hotel Mediterran, which is modern hotel with bright colors, own garden, garage and restaurant. Rooms facing the garden are less noisy.
Going out of the city along the Budaörsi road, you'll find the 3 star Hotel Classic in a quiet sub-street. This hotel has its own garden and parking lot. You can reach the Congress Center in a few minutes on foot. Do not walk along the main road, rather on the slope of the hill along Zólyomi street. The main road hosts the traffic going towards the M1/M7 highway, and it is very noisy and polluted.
Going towards the city center (towards Elisabeth Bridge), you'll find Hotel Bara, Hotel Charles and Hotel Gold Buda. All three are about a 2-3 minute walk away. Hotel Bara and Hotel Charles are both 3 stars with closed parking, while Hotel Gold Buda is a 4 star hotel with its own restaurant. Hotel Charles also has a restaurant, which we truly recommend. It is worth a visit even if you do not reside at this hotel.
Moving towards the Buda hill, Jagelló Business Hotel is located on Jagelló street. The Congress Center is 1-2 minute walk away only. We do not recommend this hotel to seniors, as it is located on top of a small hill.
