Squash is becoming more and more popular worldwide as a stress-relief sport. It is, however, rather seldom for hotels to offer a squash court. Nevertheless, we have collected a selection of hotels in Budapest which offer this opportunity within the building or nearby the hotel. One of the hotels which has a squash court is Hotel Griff***, which has several parallel squash courts. These courts are also suitable for international competitions.
The other is Best Western Hotel Lido & Wellness Center Budapest****, in the ancient Roman part of the city, in the immediate neighborhood of the Danube. The city center can be reached in ca. 15-20 minutes by car. There is also a bus stop, a ship dock and a suburban train (HÉV) station nearby.
Though not within the building, but very close to the hotel, you can find a squash court near Hotel Stadion***. The place is called Aktív Squash Club (Budapest XIV. Tábornok utca 7.). Near Pension Büro***, you'll find Top Squash Club (1021 Budapest, Mammut II.) in the nearby Mammuth shopping plaza.
The RSC Rózsadomb (1025 Budapest, Törökvész u. 89.) squash court awaits its guests ca. 400 meters away from Pension Mix on the Rózsadomb on the Buda side, in a very quiet surrounding.
Right in the heart of the city center lies World Class Fitness Center (1052 Budapest, Apáczai Cs. J. u. 4.) with a squash court, easily approachable by foot from several city center hotels. E.g. from Hotel Inter-Continental Budapest****, one of the most elegant hotels of the city, from Hotel Pilvax in the pedestrian zone, from Central Hostel near Deák square, the Danube and Váci street, or from Nonstop Apartments, offering fully equipped modern apartment.
